Rates

All projects are dealt with on an individual basis and the most cost effective solution for the client is found. The more information that can be provided at the intial stages of a project the lower the overall cost. At Andy Mann Structural Design Ltd we conduct a paperless electronic release of information via PDF - paper copies can be requested, but may result in a small additional cost depending on size and number of copies.

For budget estimates the approximate rates for typical client requirements are as follows.

• Site Visits starting from £130.00.
• Design of steel beams and bearing details - £75 for a single beam, then £50 per beam thereafter.
• Design of timber floor joists - £40 per joist span.
• Masonry check - £75.
• Goalpost frame - £150 - £200.
• Steel connections - £50 per connection.

Structural Engineer Site Visits

Site visits will be conducted on a flat rate fee, starting from £130 project dependant. The requirement for a site visit will be assessed on a project by project basis; if sufficient information and photographs can be provided then this may not be required.
